The Pan Beam 248 is a high-performance speaker, which was designed for sophisticated voice and music applications. The PB 248 is designed to cover a range of 50 m with constant SPL. It is possible to create independent multiple beams, to achieve an optimal sound coverage on the listing area. Ope- rated via a user friendly Windows Software, the connection to the computer is made through an RS 485 network. Over the digital signal processing the vertical and the inclination angle; the volume, sound and delay can be entered and controlled. Pan beam PB 248 is equipped with 12 specially designed 6.5″ speakers and 36 special 1″ high-frequency drivers, DSP modules and 16 digital amplifiers with an output of up to 100 Watts each.

The Pan Beam PB 248 is cascaded from two modules PB 224, to control the lower limit frequency, the sound pressure and to improve the coverage.
